Not afraid of negotiations

We’ve said enough about creating a harmonious relationship with your graphic designer, but that doesn’t necessarily mean we could compromise over the final work. Do not get confused about what you want, keep a critical mind at the work, never hesitate to point out unsatisfied parts in the graphic to your designer. You’ve told him/her your expectation on the design work then it is your right to get what you’ve described. If unfortunately, the final result isn’t what you have planned for, don’t worry, just negotiate with your designer for further revisions until you get what you want.

Be a keen observer and devoted learner

To be a first class graphic designer, first, you need to be a good observer in life. Always jot down the little sparkling ideas that come to you whenever you are inspired by stuffs around you.

Fake projects and Facebook

Create your fake projects, company name, brand name, design fake logos, brochures, and websites. This will make designing more fun as there is no limitations to your creativity, you can just go on spilling your creativity, weaving the magic of your capability. And then when you are done you can upload stuff on Facebook and ask your friends to be critical about it and make comments, this will show you in which area you should work more.

Check out the designs of others, and be critical about it, jot down the areas which could be worked upon and set an aim to set out things in order. Redo their projects with your own thinking and creativity, sort and eradicate their mistakes.

The second time you look at your old projects, probably you will have a new idea of how the project could have been made better. You start to be critical of yourself and your own projects, which indicates that you have now gained new understanding of the concept and the theme of your project. This is amazing. Now you can redo your old projects and when you finished redoing, you can compare both projects to see the difference. Then you are able to evaluate yourself and your work in a sensible way. This could lead to giant improvement in your work and becomes the milestone of your graphic designing career.
