And then when you are done you can upload stuff on Facebook and ask your friends to be critical about it and make comments, this will show you in which area you should work more.

Check out the designs of others, and be critical about it, jot down the areas which could be worked upon and set an aim to set out things in order. Redo their projects with your own thinking and creativity, sort and eradicate their mistakes.
